 J.R. Dail started helping out on the family farm when he was in first grade, driving a tractor that took irrigation pipe into the field. "As soon as I was big enough to press a clutch," he said. Dail, 31, is a fifth-generation farmer. He lives in a house built by his grandfather on U.S. 13 near Eastover and Wade.
