Immigration: Ag leaders speak out as employees skip work

The owners of several local agriculture businesses have penned a letter to Meadows, Burr and Tillis 
asking them to support immigration reform legislation that allows them to keep their workforce. The Town of Mills River's Agricultural Advisory Committee crafted the letter Thursday and addressing it to U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows, U.S. Sen. Richard Burr and U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis.
