The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday announced in a pair of memos its plans to implement an executive order signed last month by President Donald Trump that expanded the categories of unauthorized immigrants considered a high priority for deportation. Among the key items in the executive order, signed Jan. 25, was a directive to consider most unauthorized immigrants a high priority for removal, including those who have not been convicted of crimes.
