Cold snap could mean trouble for local strawberry farmers

Simeon Ogburn, owner of Ogburn Berries and Produce in Willow Spring, checks on the progress of his strawberry crop Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2017. Ogburn says his berries are already starting to grow due to early warm weather. He's concerned about a predicted cold snap and he plans to use sprinklers early Saturday morning to protect the berries.
