March 15 is NC Ag Awareness Day at the Legislature

Join Commissioner Troxler, the NC Pork Council, NC Farm Bureau, NC Cattlemen's Association, NC Poultry Federation, NC Egg Producers Association, NC Soybean Producers Association, and many other commodity groups and supporters of agriculture to highlight the importance of the agricultural industry at the legislature. 


This is a day in which the broad agricultural community in North Carolina will convene at the legislature and the Capitol to express and share the importance of what we do. 


Shuttle buses will run from the Exposition Building at the State Fairgrounds down to the Legislative Building.
The schedule is:
9 a.m. : Buses run from Fairgrounds
9 – 10:45 a.m. : Legislative visits, displays at legislature
11 a.m. : Rally on Bicentennial Mall (the area near museums between the Capitol and the Legislative Building)
Noon: Grab and go lunch provided on Bicentennial Mall
Noon – 2 p.m. : Buses run to Fairgrounds 


Many regions are coordinating transportation to Raleigh. Contact your county Farm Bureau for details or the
NCDA&CS website.
