It certainly feels like spring has come early across North Carolina. Statistics recently released by the State Climate Office show that last month was the fourth warmest February on record for the entire state. That is based on the average statewide temperature for the month and records that date back to 1895. Only 1927, 1932, and 1990 had warmer Februaries. For more of this story, click here.
