If you are a Duke Energy customer, you may be in for a surprise when you see your upcoming bills.  Duke Energy Carolinas customers will see an increase in their monthly energy bill for the first time since 2011 -- that’s if the company’s annual filings with the NC Utilities Commission are approved.
