Talk to just about any high school senior in Lenoir County and you’ll likely hear how excited they are to leave Kinston, preferably forever in some cases. For a county that, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, had more than 120,000 acres of farmland in 2012 an exodus of future agriculture workers could prove to be a problem.
