 Despite recent wildfires in the area, the air quality in Western North Carolina and the state continues to improve, local and state experts said Monday.  Officials from Land of Sky, the North Carolina Division of Air Quality, WNC Regional Air Quality Agency, the U.S. Forest Service and Duke Energy came together to discuss the air quality conditions of the state.
