Late peaches, fine; jury still out on other crops

How did peaches and other flowering crops fare following the days-long cold snap? It depends. Statewide, estimates of damage are not yet in from the N.C. Department of Agriculture. Ben Grandon, horticulture agent with the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Randolph Center, said the jury is still out on damage to crops locally.
