Five months before the first day of class, Cape Fear Community College's new veterinary medical technology program is shaping up to be one of the school's most competitive. During a Board of Trustees meeting Thursday, CFCC leaders heard new details on the program set to launch this fall. Director Christy Redfearn said while the program has room for 24 students, 125 have come out to information sessions.
