Tue Apr 4, 2017 10am - 11:15am

Join us to learn about two programs geared to help agricultural producers, both funded by the USDA.

The USDA Rural Energy for America Program funds the NC Clean Energy Technology Center to conduct 14 on-site energy efficiency audits for agricultural producers and rural small businesses across the state. Hear about funding opportunities to implement recommendations from a USDA Rural Energy Development Coordinator, as well as success stories.

The NC Growing Together (NCGT) Project is a five-year program funded by a USDA Agriculture and Food Research Initiative grant. NCGT works to move more local farm and food products into mainstream supply chains across the state, working with producers, wholesalers, supply chain intermediaries, and supportive small business centers, lending institutions, and local governments statewide. NCGT's presentation will focus on their work with farmers and food producers across the state, and opportunities for collaboration with other partners, particularly those funded by USDA.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
