The chairman of the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners doled out kudos to Piedmont Natural Gas on Thursday for redesigning and refurbishing an existing facility that largely had sat empty in the county's Industrial Park for two years before claiming it as its new customer contact and resource center. Commissioner Glenn Adams said during the open house, "This is like bringing a new industry to Cumberland County."
