As anticipated, the weather is predicted to turn significantly cooler over the weekend in the southeast. Corey Davis, Applied Climatologist with the State Climate Office for North Carolina: “This has been really an interesting time of year, even when you think back two or three weeks, we had gone into March fairly warm, then we switched to that cooler pattern by the middle of the month, and had several hard freezes there, even as most people had started doing some planting.
