Cattle:  At the livestock auctions held Monday in Canton, Siler City, and Turnersburg a total of 2,299 cattle, 120 goats, and 42 sheep were sold.  Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 3.00 to 6.00 lower; while boning type were steady to 2.00 higher.
