Yarn plant closure impacts 97 jobs in eastern N.C.

A Gastonia-based manufacturer is closing a yarn plant in eastern North Carolina, a move that impacts 97 employees.
In a notice Parkdale Mills filed with the state, the company said it is closing its Williamston facility “for business reasons.”
