NC House passes measure to allow immigration lawsuits

A bill that legislators approved Thursday would allow North Carolina residents to file suit if they think their local government isn’t complying with immigration laws. The N.C. House of Representatives voted 65-48 for the measure aimed at punishing so-called “sanctuary cities” that shelter illegal immigrants.
