Bayer AG plans to sell its Liberty herbicide and LibertyLink seeds businesses in order to win regulatory approval for its pending $66 billion acquisition of Monsanto. The divestment of the two brands was required to gain approval from South Africa's Competition Commission, Reuters reports.
