ChemChina’s takeover of Syngenta (NYSE: SYT) has won support from about 80 percent of the Swiss company’s shareholders, the companies announced Wednesday. Definitive interim results shows that about 82.2 percent of shares were tendered in favor of the acquisition. That number is slightly higher than the preliminary results released last week when ChemChina, officially China National Chemical Corp.,
