Joy Morgan’s Teaching Diverse Learners class develops creativity and flexibility in future agriculture teachers who must accommodate students with a variety of needs in a single classroom. “What can you find in the dirt?” “Worms!” “Would you want to eat worms?” Students glance at each other and laugh. A few shake their heads, roll their eyes or make gagging sounds. “No!” “But some things that we want to eat grow in dirt, right?”
