While farmers and industry groups remain euphoric over the installation of a more business-friendly administration at the Environmental Protection Agency, every so often a reality check gets inserted into the mix. Back on April 5, EPA denied a petition from the Pesticide Action Network North America and the Natural Resources Defense Council to cancel all registrations for chlorpyrifos, an insecticide used on a number of commercial crops in the U.S. For more of this story, click here.
