Cooperative Extension building to be rebuilt using $1.4 million Golden Leaf award

The Golden Leaf Foundation awarded $1.4 million to the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension to reconstruct the facility, which was damaged during flooding from Hurricane Matthew. The facility will remain on its original site, however, the original structure will be demolished and compacted fill material will be brought in to raise the new building pad to above flood level.
