Wheat harvest is all but wrapped up in the southeast, and Dan Weathington, Executive Director, NC Small Grain Growers Association says there was some pleasant surprises: “That is correct, most people I’ve talked to are finished.  I think by tonight we’ll have close to 90% and if there are areas that don’t get rain, they can work tomorrow and finish."
