Mary:  This is Mary Walden with economist MW, welcoming you to the economic perspective.  Today’s program looks at shrinking farmland.  Mike, one thing that all of us must do is eat.  But when I travel around North Carolina, it appears to me that the amount of land devoted to farming appears to be dropping.   Am I correct, and if so, should I worry about where I’ll get my next meal?
