Two weeks ago GenX became a familiar term for those who live in Southeastern North Carolina. That’s when it was revealed Chemours was discharging the toxic chemical in the Cape Fear River. As local governments fight to learn more, they’re looking for federal help. “I think that it’s really important as we move forward to continue that type of communication and make sure that all parties are aware of the latest and most up to date information,” Congressman David Rouzer said.
