This week the House continued our work to maintain the security of the American people with the passage of two important immigration enforcement bills. First we passed H.R. 3003, the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, to combat sanctuary cities policies that shield criminal illegal immigrants and harm American communities. We then passed H.R. 3004, Kate’s Law, which strengthens penalties on illegal immigrants who return to the U.S. after being deported.
