NC projections show future state revenue shortfalls

A five-year budget projection in the NC General Assembly shows that the state won’t take in enough revenue in the later years to maintain current services and pay for school enrollment and Medicaid growth. A leading Democrat says the report reveals Republicans’ misplaced priorities, while a Republican spokeswoman says GOP fiscal strategies work.
