North Carolina stumpage prices continue to drop. Sawtimber stumpage prices were down for both pine and hardwood species ranging from 6-11%. The biggest drop occurred in mixed-hardwoods with prices down almost 11%, followed by oak sawtimber dropping almost 7% from the previous quarter. Pine chip-n-saw dropped almost 3% from the previous quarter.
