Three years of stakeholder feedback went into the development of a new, emerging animal disease preparation and response plan.  Lee Ann Thomas of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service:
“Veterinary Services are developing an Emerging Animal Disease Preparedness and Response framework in 2014.  That document was provided to the public for general comment.
