A stevia field day is being being held on August 15th, from 9:30 to 1, including lunch, at the Upper Coastal Plain Research Station at Rocky Mount. The program will include updates from the stevia industry, current research on disease and weed management and on efforts to breed stevia varieties for the southeast. A brief tour of research plots will also be part of the program. The program will include 2 hr of pesticide credit in D:N:O:X categories.
