Effects of heat wave on corn minimal

When we last talked to NC State Extension Corn Specialist Dr. Ron Heiniger, before the recently concluded heat wave, there was some concern about some fungus diseases showing up in corn.  Today, Heiniger talks about the effects of the heat wave on the crop and general, and that fungus threat:“ I have heard of some really late planted corn, I’m talking mid-April or laer, that was just after pollination, that got the most impact."
