Recently, the North Carolina Small Grain Growers Association entertained research proposals for the coming growing season.  Executive Director, Dan Weathington outlines some of the coming small grains research: "Our Research & Education Committee met and reviewed about 18 different proposals from our faculty at NC State and USDA-ARS.  Our two main problems that we continue to have is scab and Italian ryegrass in our wheat. "
