DESCRIPTION
The Western North Carolina Farm Tour will be held on Monday August 14, 2017, departing from the Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville, NC. We will travel together on a charter bus visiting four very diverse farms in the Clay & Cherokee County, North Carolina area.
Sunday evening dinner and networking time (optional)
Monday morning breakfast buffet (optional)
Monday Morning 8:30am we will load the buses and depart to High Mountain Meadows Farm & Creamery in Hayesville, NC. From there we will travel to Bedford Falls Alpaca Farm in Warne, NC then off to lunch (included with ticket) at Walnut Hollow Ranch in Hayesville, NC....afterwards touring that facility. Once we leave Walnut Hollow Ranch we will head to McGuire's Millrace Farm in Murphy, NC...and then finally return to the original departure point by 4pm
This is a fun filled day with networking and educational opportunities available to all participants. Be sure to dress for the weather and be prepared to walk at the farms after a presentation from the agritourism operator at each visit. Bring a camera for photos and cash if you plan to purchase any items while at the farms.
Please note that tickets will be sold on a first come - first serve basis. Once the bus it full there will be no additional ticket sales avialable.
