TDrought conditions in both North and South Carolina remained stable as reported in the latest drought monitor released by the Drought Mitigation Center on Thursday.  North Carolina’s abnormally dry conditions encompass the Piedmont, from South Carolina to the Virginia border totaling 25.28% of the state, the same as last week.
