Audits of Canada’s meat, poultry, and egg inspections conducted in September 2016 and written up in a report in April this year are now getting attention. The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service sent a copy of the final audit report to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), raising significant questions that require attention.
