Stanly County Commissioners voted Monday night to proceed with requesting bids for construction of the Farm Bureau Livestock Arena at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center. Reggie Medlin, chairman of the arena project committee, reported on fundraising for the facility and thanked the commissioners for their support of the project.
