In the latest crop progress for North Carolina for the week ended August 13th, there were just shy of five days suitable for field work during the week, compared to almost seven the previous week.  Blake Sandlin with Duplin County Extension reports good rains during the week with worms showing up in soybeans, cotton and peanuts.
