Soil testing after corn and before wheat

Managing nutrients this year has been a challenge due to heavy rains in late April, and with corn is coming out of the field at a rapid clip, Dr. David Hardy, head of soils lab for NCDA’s Agronomics Division suggests soil testing before planting wheat:
“We have had a hard time, originally getting the crop in the ground, and certainly challenging a crop to manage from a fertility standpoint.  We’ve had great yields this year... 
"
