Republicans file lots of redistricting paperwork with judges

North Carolina Republican legislative leaders unloaded lots of paperwork at the door of federal judges deciding whether new General Assembly district maps passed last week can be used in next year's elections.  Lawyers for GOP lawmakers filed electronically Thursday nearly 2,000 pages about the latest redistricting process that concluded with reworked House and Senate boundaries.
