When Steve Coulter heard that Angus MacLachlan had him in mind for a role in the film “Abundant Acreage Available,” Coulter knew he was in good hands. “Angus can write something on the back of a soup can and I’d do it,” Coulter, a prolific character actor and 1981 alumnus of the UNC School of the Arts, said by phone from his home in Atlanta.
