Dole Food is exploring a sale, according to the Wall Street Journal. Based on comparable companies, WSJ suggested that Dole could be worth $2 billion. In an email to The Produce News, William Goldfield, director of corporate communications at Dole, said the company had no comment to offer regarding the potential sale.
