North Carolina’s yield potential still good in September crop reports

Last week, USDA released their September crop reports, and North Carolina is still on track for very good yield potential.
Corn yield is now forecast to tie the record set in 2013, cotton is projected to be 117% above last year’s Matthew ravaged crop, and peanuts are forecast for a 42% jump.
