Don’t let weed control fall by the wayside

Harvest is in full swing for tobacco and corn, with peanuts close behind.  This isn’t the time to ignore weed control, even on land that will be vacant until spring.  NC State Extension Weed Science Specialist, Professor Emeritus Dr. Alan York:
“Actually now is a good time to maybe get a handle on starting to reduce some of our seed bank problems.  It’s kind of late in the fall, but we don’t know when it’s going to frost.  But, there’s still a good bit of growing season, possibly, left this year."
