Time to step up biosecurity to prevent bird flu

Cool weather is on the horizon, and the possibility of bird flu could be on the rise.  South Carolina’s State Veterinarian, Dr. Boyd Parr says bird flu isn’t as prevalent in the fall as the spring, but that doesn’t mean you can let your guard down:
“As we begin the migration of water fowl, which is the most common initial introduction for us, as they head south, it’s a good reminder for us to remain vigilant on what we can do to prevent exposure."
