Vandana Shiva’s life is wrapped up in seeds. As everyone’s should be, said the world renowned environmentalist and social activist. “Seeds are the source of life. The first link in the food chain,” Shiva said. She will be in a three-day residency starting Oct. 17 at UNC Asheville, which includes a public lecture Oct. 18.
