Henderson County is a hotbed for agriculture, but also agricultural careers. About 100 eighth graders Monday learned how their food gets to the table during Ag Field Day in Mills River. Twenty-five students from each of the Henderson County Middle Schools toured the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center and North River Farms in Mills River Monday.
