About the Conference

The North Carolina Irrigation Society holds an annual meeting with invited speakers who give informational and educational presentations on various aspects of irrigation.  Continuing education hours are offered for various certified and licensed professionals.  Attendees from academic, consulting, state and federal agency, grower, manufacturing, sales and service, and advocacy sectors typically attend this meeting.  

Speakers are being line-up for this fall’s meeting targeting areas such as drones and their use in agriculture, new agricultural drainage technology and water reuse, urban agriculture, and greenhouse irrigation and water management.  Check back as the agenda is finalized.

The North Carolina Irrigation Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote sound irrigation management principles and provide members with information and educational opportunities related to irrigation. It also encourages and promotes establishing and furthering contacts between the various irrigation sectors and groups. The annual irrigation conference is one way the Society engages in its mission.
