Join us before the meet-up from 4-5PM for the Grower Buyer Panel Discussion led by Fred Broadwell of Local Organic Y’all.

Join us for the 3rd annual The Center for Environmental Farming Systems’ NC Growing Together Project/CFSA Grower- Buyer Meet-up!  Each year at the Sustainable Agriculture Conference,  we provide a forum for growers and buyers to meet face to face in a 'speed-networking’ format to get to know each other, and hopefully do business.

Please help us find the best fit for your operation.  Some buyers require GAP certification, others do not. For that reason we have two rooms:

One room is dedicated to produce growers that hold GAP certification or have their audit scheduled, and buyers that require GAP.

Another room is dedicated to produce growers without GAP, as well as producers of other raw or manufactured foods (like fresh meats, cured meats, jams, salsas, etc), and buyers for these products.

Buyers who attended the event in 2016: Wegmans, Lowes Foods, FreshPoint Wholesale, Foster Caviness, Deep Roots Market, Durham Food Co-op, Wake County Schools and many more

Spaces available for beginner to advanced growers. Farmers are encouraged to bring photos and information about their farm to hand out to each buyer.

Participants must complete this short informational survey in advance to attend. http://bit.ly/2ufc6gf
