NRCS is proud to release a new documentary on Hugh Hammond Bennett and the history of NRCS. It looks at the origins of soil conservation in the U.S., from the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression to the establishment of a permanent agency to help the Nation recover. It is an inspiring reminder of why private lands conservation is so important, now and into the future.
