Texas agriculture Hurricane Harvey damage numbers are high

Months after Hurricane Harvey hit Texas agriculture hard, the damage numbers are substantial. Texas Farm Bureau director of communications Gene Hall says the cotton crop was hit especially hard…“The damage estimates exceed $100 million.  There were probably 200,000 bales that couldn’t be harvested and another 200,000 that were degraded in some way, which will mean additional dollar losses."
